Over 30 and single? Maybe you can blame it on where you live.
Saturday was National Singles Day, so the people at Apartment List honored the unattached by creating a list of the best (and worst) cities for singles. The researchers gauged renter satisfaction on dating (40%) and social life (20%) plus dating affordability (21%) and percentage of singles (20%).
Sadly, not a single California city made the top 10. But half of the 10 worst cities for singles were right here: Stockton (dead last at #139/139), Anaheim (#128), Bakersfield (#127), San Bernardino (#126), and Fresno (#122).

The top cities for singles are Atlanta, Madison, WI, and Washington, D.C.
