Six Golden State cities have made the top 20 on WalletHub’s list of the Healthiest Places to Live in the U.S., with San Francisco taking the #1 spot nationwide.
WalletHub compared the 180 most populated cities in America on factors such as healthcare, food, fitness and green spaces.

- Glendale
- Long Beach
- Sacramento
San Jose, Anaheim, Santa Ana, Irvine, Huntington Beach and Garden Grove have the lowest premature death rates of comparable cities in the U.S. Los Angeles and San Francisco have some of the highest percentages of healthy restaurants.
