How to Celebrate City Hall Selfie Day

Thursday, August 15th is City Hall Selfie Day.

The annual celebration is organized by Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL). It's a chance to recognize the importance of public service and showcase your pride in local government.

Want to celebrate? Here's how:

1. Take a picture of yourself, individually or with a group, in front of a local government building of your choice.  It doesn't have to be City Hall.
2. Upload the photo to social media using the hashtag #CityHallSelfie.
3. Tag ELGL via Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads, TikTok, and X/Twitter.
