American Canyon Renews City Manager’s Contract

The American Canyon City Council has renewed City Manager Jason Holley’s contract for another six years. Holley accepted the new agreement Tuesday.

Holley’s new base salary will be $303,000 per year. In 2023, he earned an annual salary of $249,525, according to Transparent California.

“I really think that he's well-deserving of this compensation package and totally recommend it for him,” said Councilmember Brando Cruz.

Holley said he was honored by the Council’s decision to extend his contract and “really excited about the opportunity to continue on in this role.”

American Canyon is a city of around 21,700 in Napa County. Its citywide budget for FY 2025-26 is $154.2 million.
