In a city council meeting earlier this month, the City of Antioch brought Michael Vigilia on board as the new City Attorney.
The council voted a unanimous 5-0 to approve Vigilia, who had previously served the City of Hayward as Assistant City Attorney since 2011.
Before that, he served the City of Fresno for over 4 years as Deputy City Attorney and the County of Tulare as Deputy DA for a year and a half for over a decade of legal aide to California local governments.
Vigilia was excited for the move, saying “I feel like I made the right decision in coming to Antioch.”
