Azusa Mayor Robert Gonzales remains hospitalized more than a week after revealing he had tested positive for COVID-19.
The city revealed Gonzalez’s diagnosis on Dec. 8.
“While I am feeling better day by day, I am closely monitoring my health and consulting with my physicians,” the mayor said in a statement at the time.
On Monday, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported that Gonzalez was in the hospital. Additional information about his health status has not been made available.
