Beaumont City Attorney David Wysocki will retire next month, concluding a 23-year run with the city. Wysocki’s resignation was accepted by the City Council in a 4-1 vote April 7, effective within 30 days.
Wysocki and his firm, Aklufi and Wysocki, have represented the City of Beaumont since 1992. During that time, Wysocki has served as both deputy city attorney and city attorney.
“We wish him well in retirement,” said Mayor Brenda Knight.
Wysocki holds a B.A. from California State University, Long Beach and a J.D. from Southwestern Law School.
