California may be known as “the Golden State,” but it may not be the best choice for your golden years.
Personal finance site WalletHub has released its annual list of the best and worst cities for retirement and not a single California city made the top 10 “best” list. Unfortunately, we were all over WalletHub’s “worst.”
To determine the rankings, WalletHub compared the country’s 150 largest cities. It looked at the number of home-health care facilities, the price of in-home care, overall cost of living and activities ranging from museums to bingo and golf.
In a nutshell, here’s what they found:
