Wage gaps, work-life balance, and workplace attitudes are all sources of consternation for America’s working women. But much stress can be alleviated depending on where you go. As we all know, some cities are just far more friendly for working women than others.
Which ones? MagnifyMoney has the answer for 2018. The personal finance site just compiled its rankings of the best and worst cities for working women based on eight different factors, including wages, unemployment, median income, and even the number of female legislators or other public officials in a given area.
The country’s 50 largest metro areas were studied for the results. The top 10 (and bottom 10) rankings were as follows:
