Cal Consulting is proud to celebrate the City of Menlo Park for its successful award of $2,297,000 through the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) Climate Program Implementation - Charging Infrastructure Grant! This significant investment will support Menlo Park’s ongoing efforts  to expand and enhance its electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, reinforcing its leadership in sustainability and climate action.

This exciting milestone was achieved through the dedicated efforts of Cal Consulting Project  Manager Maghan Barber, who worked closely with Menlo Park’s administrative team throughout  the grant application process. Their collaboration ensured the City submitted a competitive and compelling proposal, ultimately securing this critical funding.

"Securing grant funding is essential to implementing the City’s Climate Action Plan, and we are so  thrilled to announce our award to install new electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Cal Consulting played a pivotal role in this achievement by guiding our cross-departmental team to  develop a competitive, detailed, and technical proposal.” stated Rachael Londer, City of Menlo Park’s Sustainability Manager

The grant will help fund the installation of additional EV charging stations across Menlo Park,  making it easier for residents, commuters, and visitors to choose cleaner transportation options. Expanding the City’s EV infrastructure is a key part of its broader strategy to reduce greenhouse gas  emissions and support California’s ambitious climate goals.

“The City of Menlo Park is looking to fund additional EV infrastructure for their community,” said Maghan Barber. “This grant is a big step forward in advancing those efforts and providing  sustainable transportation solutions for the future.”

Cal Consulting is honored to support the City of Menlo Park in securing funding that makes a meaningful impact. We look forward to seeing these projects come to life and continuing our  partnership on future initiatives.

Congratulations again to the City of Menlo Park on this incredible achievement!
