Team Member Spotlight: Ashley Ramsey, Project Manager Delivering $59.97 Million in Grant Funding Across California 

At California Consulting, we are proud to recognize Ashley Ramsey, a standout Project Manager  whose skillful grant writing and strategic insight have helped secure $59,970,981 in public  funding for cities, school districts, and special districts across California. 

Ashley has led successful applications across a wide range of sectors, including parks and  recreation, public safety, education, infrastructure, and wildfire resiliency. Her ability to align  funding priorities with community needs makes her an invaluable asset to our clients and our  team. 

Featured Grant Wins 

 City of Bakersfield 

Program: Statewide Park Development & Community Revitalization (SPP) Award: $3,012,385 

Funding for a new park featuring play areas, trails, courts, fitness equipment, and a community  mural in an underserved neighborhood.

 Los Banos Unified School District 

Program: Tobacco Grant Program 

Award: $1,291,910 

Supports student safety through new School Resource Officers, vaping prevention, and anti tobacco education campaigns. 

 City of Twentynine Palms 

Program: Cultural, Community & Natural Resources Grant 

Award: $2,000,000 

Development of a Native American Cultural and Visitor Center connected to Joshua Tree  National Park. 

 Rancho Simi Recreation & Park District 

Program: SB 85 Wildfire Resiliency Grant 

Award: $395,000 

A three-pronged wildfire mitigation plan for Oak Park including vegetation management,  equipment, and firebreaks.
