California Consulting is proud to announce that Bi-Bett Corporation has been awarded $932,392 through the Department of Health Care Services – Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program (BHCIP): Round 1 Funding, Proposition 1. This BHCIP Launch Ready project will restore and upgrade and expand Bi-Bett's Diablo Valley Ranch (DVR) Residential Treatment Center in Clayton, CA.
Bi-Bett Corporation brings more than 50 years of experience delivering evidence-based addiction treatment to underserved populations—including individuals experiencing homelessness, veterans, and justice-involved persons. Currently, the organization operates residential treatment centers, sober living environments, outpatient treatments, DUI education and more supportive services across the San Francisco Bay Area, reaching over 1,700 clients each year.
The rehabilitation of Diablo Valley Ranch directly supports Bi-Bett’s mission to disrupt cycles of addiction, incarceration, and homelessness through culturally responsive, person-centered care. The project is nearly-shovel-ready, with a projected completion date of June 2026. Bi-Bett has secured the land and property and initiated discussions with local planning and utility departments to ensure an efficient construction timeline.
California Consulting Grant Specialist Samantha D’Ambrosio worked closely with Bi-Bett’s administration to develop the winning proposal, ensuring the application powerfully reflected the project's community impact and readiness.
"Bi-Bett’s work is vital to California’s behavioral health system, and we’re proud to support this transformative project that expands access to care where it’s needed most," said Dan Rodriguez, Director of Operation at California Consulting Inc.
Congratulations to Bi-Bett Corporation on this well-earned funding and for their continued dedication to addiction treatment and community healing.
