FY 2024 STATE & LOCAL CYBERSECURITY GRANT - LOCAL & TRIBAL (SL)
PROGRAM - Competitive Funding Opportunity (CFO)

Description/Eligibility:
The purpose of the SL Program is to assist local governments, including school districts and special
districts, and federally recognized tribes address cybersecurity risks and threats to information
systems, and improve security of critical infrastructure and resilience of the services these entities
provide to their communities.
Restricted to applicants that meet the federal definition of Local Government in 6 U.S.C. §101(13) or
Tribal Government in 6 U.S.C. §665(g)(a)(7) and are located in California.


Grant Subaward Period of Performance:
December 1, 2024 – December 31, 2026

Submission Deadline:
The proposal must be received electronically, by 11:59pm (PDT) Friday, September 27, 2024, to
[email protected]. Proposals received after this time/date or received to any other
email address will not be considered.

Available Funding:
$19,085,028

Maximum Allowed per Applicant:
Applicants may request up to $250,000.

PROGRAM - Competitive Funding Opportunity (CFO)

Description/Eligibility:
The purpose of the SG Program is to assist agencies of the State of California address cybersecurity
risks and threats to information systems, and improve security of critical infrastructure and resilience
of the services these entities provide to communities throughout the state.

Restricted to applicants that are agencies of the State of California.

Grant Subaward Period of Performance:
December 1, 2024 – December 31, 2026

Submission Deadline:
The proposal must be received electronically, by 11:59pm (PDT) Friday, September 27, 2024, to
[email protected]. Proposals received after this time/date or received to any other
email address will not be considered.

Available Funding:
$3,578,443

Maximum Allowed per Applicant:
Applicants may request up to $250,000.

FY 2024 CALIFORNIA STATE NONPROFIT SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM (CSNSGP) - Request for Proposal (RFP)

Description/Eligibility:
The purpose of the CSNSGP is to provide funding support for target hardening and other physical
security enhancements to nonprofit organizations that are at high risk for violent attacks and hate
crimes due to ideology, beliefs, or mission.

Restricted to California nonprofit organizations that are described under Section 501(c)(3) of the
Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (IRC) and exempt from tax under Section 501(a) of such code.

Grant Subaward Period of Performance:
December 1, 2024 – December 31, 2026

Submission Deadline:
The proposal must be received electronically, by 11:59pm (PDT) Monday, September 23, 2024, to
[email protected]. Proposals received after this time/date or received to any other email
address will not be considered.

Available Funding:
$76,000,000

Maximum Allowed per Applicant:
Nonprofits can request up to $250,000 per location for a total of $500,000.
