California Consulting is proud to highlight the outstanding achievements of Senior Project Manager Shari Edghill, whose expertise in grant writing has led to securing an impressive $49,006,286 in funding for clients. With over 14 years of experience in grant writing and 25 years in business, legal, and operations, Shari has helped municipalities and organizations access critical funding for transformative projects in public safety, infrastructure, recreation, and energy.

One of her most impactful accomplishments includes securing multi-million-dollar funding through the California Department of Parks and Recreation Prop 68: Statewide Park Program (SPP). Her efforts have led to grants such as $7,841,000 for the City of Gardena, $6,950,000 for the City of Stanton, and $8,500,000 for the City of Needles, among others. These grants have allowed communities to revitalize public spaces, create new green areas, and improve access to outdoor recreational opportunities. Thanks to this funding, residents, families, and children can enjoy well-maintained parks and community resources for years to come.

Beyond park development, Shari has been instrumental in securing grants that strengthen public safety. Her success in obtaining $4,257,536 from the FEMA Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Grants (SAFER) program has provided fire departments with essential resources to improve emergency response services. Through her efforts, fire departments like the Cosumnes Community Services District have received critical financial support to increase staffing levels, enhance training, and ensure that communities remain protected during emergencies.

Shari has also been a driving force in securing funding for vital infrastructure and community services. She successfully obtained $5,000,000 from the Active Transportation Program (ATP) to enhance pedestrian and bike pathways, improving safety and connectivity in local communities. Additionally, her grant writing has led to $4,999,750 from the Clean California Local Grant Program, funding beautification projects and environmental improvements across various municipalities.

Her expertise goes beyond securing grants—her in-depth knowledge of municipal procedures, contract management, and financial strategy enables her to guide clients through the complexities of the grant application process. Her ability to identify funding opportunities and craft successful proposals has made a lasting impact on communities, ensuring they receive the resources needed to thrive.

“At California Consulting, we pride ourselves on delivering real results, and Shari exemplifies that mission. Her work has directly contributed to strengthening public safety, improving infrastructure, and enhancing recreational spaces across California.” stated California Consulting Director of Communications, Shasta Bell.

California Consulting is honored to have Shari Edghill as part of our team. Her dedication, strategic vision, and commitment to community development have set a high standard for grant writing excellence. We celebrate her remarkable contributions and look forward to her continued success in securing funding that makes a real difference.

Congratulations, Shari, on your incredible success! We look forward to seeing the continued impact of your work.
