An astonishing 66% of the priciest neighborhoods in the country are right here in California, including seven of the zip codes in the top 10.

Overall, Los Angeles and Newport Beach are tied among California cities with the most expensive zip codes. The counties of Los Angeles, Santa Clara, Orange and San Mateo are the most expensive in the country with 18, 16, 11 and 9 of the 100 priciest zip codes in the U.S.
