Los Altos is the richest city in the nation, according to a new analysis from 24/7 Wall St. The Santa Clara County community has a median household income above $250,000. The median home costs over $2,000,000.
To determine the richest cities, researchers at 24/7 Wall St. analyzed data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2021 American Community Survey. Only cities with at least 25,000 people were considered.
The second-richest city in the country is University Park, Texas followed by McLean, Virginia, according to the researchers.
