California has invested over $1 billion in electric vehicles (EVs) and infrastructure. According to new findings, the investment is paying off.
Five California cities made a recent list of the best places to drive an electric vehicle in the U.S. The rankings were compiled by car search engine iSeeCars.
To determine EV friendliness, the researchers looked at the ratio of residents to EV chargers in large U.S. metros. These were the top 10 metros for electric vehicle owners in America:
San Francisco-Oakland-San Jose, CA
San Diego, CA
Los Angeles, CA
Denver, CO
Boston-Manchester, MA/NH
Sacramento-Stockton-Modesto. CA
Kansas City, MO
Baltimore, MD
Fresno-Visalia, CA
Seattle-Tacoma, WA
Milwaukee, WI and Birmingham, AL were named the worst metros for EV owners. No California city made the top 10 “worst” list.
List and data were compiled by iSeeCars and do not reflect statistics on all metros.
