From California Consulting, Inc.:

California Consulting is thrilled to spotlight the exceptional accomplishments of Project Manager Karen Leventhal, whose outstanding grant writing skills have secured a total of $5,770,000 in funding for various cities. Her dedication and expertise have brought significant resources to enhance community projects across multiple sectors.

Karen’s recent successes include:

1. City of Albany: $220,000 from the Department of Energy through the Competitive Energy  Efficiency Community Development Block Grant. This grant will enable Albany to implement innovative energy efficiency measures, reducing costs and environmental impact while promoting sustainable practices within the community.

2. City of Pittsburg: $2,000,000 from the USDA Urban and Community Forestry Inflation  Reduction Act Grant. These funds will support Pittsburg in expanding urban forestry initiatives, enhancing green spaces, improving air quality, and mitigating climate change  effects through strategic tree planting and maintenance programs.

3. City of Hemet: $2,500,000 from the Organized Retail Theft Prevention Grant Program, Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC). This substantial grant will empower Hemet to combat organized retail theft, ensuring safer shopping environments and bolstering community security through advanced prevention strategies and law enforcement support.

4. City of Hemet: $800,000 from the Safe Streets and Roads for All program, US Department of Transportation. This funding will enhance road safety measures in Hemet, reducing traffic-related incidents and creating safer pathways for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers alike.

5. City of Nevada: $250,000 from California Volunteers for the Connecting Neighbors to  Neighbors program. This grant will foster stronger community connections, encouraging  civic engagement and volunteerism to address local needs and build resilient neighborhoods.

Karen Leventhal’s remarkable achievements exemplify her dedication to securing vital funding for  community development. Her strategic approach and comprehensive understanding of grant  applications have made her an invaluable asset to California Consulting and the communities we  serve.

"Karen's ability to secure these substantial grants is a testament to her exceptional skills and  unwavering commitment to community development. We are incredibly proud of her  contributions and look forward to seeing the positive impacts these funds will have on the cities  involved," said Dan Rodriguez, Director of Operations.

Congratulations to Karen Leventhal for her extraordinary success in securing over $5.7 million in  grants. Her work continues to make a significant difference in the lives of countless individuals  and the communities they call home.
