City and County News are pleased to announce a 25 part series examining the Top 25 local elections for this November. Yes, there are plenty of high profile elections at the top of the ticket this year. Yes, you've heard enough about elections to last a lifetime. No, you're not watching the local races close enough.
That's where we come in. Over the next eight weeks we'll be profiling 25 city and county races, and giving you the rundown on what to watch for and why. Some of these will be ballot issues, some will be individual elections and we may look more broadly at a few localities' politics where multiple issues/candidates would have a lasting impact. It's our first try with this so we'll likely make some adjustments along the way, and as always, your comments and feedback are welcome.
