City of El Cajon Awarded $1.8 Million SAFER Grant to Enhance Community Safety

California Consulting is excited to announce that our client, the City of El Cajon, has been awarded $1,844,631.29 through the Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) Grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). 

Project Manager Maghan Barber partnered with the city administration to craft the successful application, securing this critical funding. The SAFER Grant is designed to help  fire departments increase staffing levels, improve emergency response times, and  enhance overall community safety.
