Planning a romantic getaway for that special someone this Valentine’s Day? With the Day of Love just around the corner, Condé Nast Traveler has you covered thanks to its list of the Most Beautiful Towns in America for 2016.
To relish the country’s most breathtaking destination, you’ll have to make a trip to the East Coast. The quaint town of Woodstock, Vermont took the coveted #1 spot on account of its old New England charm. It was followed by the cities of St. Augustine, FL and Annapolis, MD.
Condé Nast Traveler’s list is a reminder that California is still home to some of the most beautiful destinations this country has to offer. Two Golden State towns, Big Sur and Santa Barbara, made the top 10, coming in at #4 and #8 respectively. Bozeman, MT and Sitka, AL rounded out the top 10.
