Daly City Looks to Fill Open Council Seat

Residents who are registered to vote in San Mateo County have until 5:00 p.m. on March 27, 2024 to apply for a vacant seat on the Daly City Council. 

The vacancy was created when Ray Buenaventura stepped down from the dais last year. Buenaventura now serves as Lake County’s Chief Public Defender.

Applications are available in-person at the City Clerk's Office (333 90th St.) or online. Mailed applications must be postmarked by March 27, 2024.
