Dublin, California Assistant City Manager Colleen Tribby will replace Linda Smith when she vacates the city manager’s position in October.
Tribby has been appointed to the top administrative position by the Dublin City Council. She has been with the city for a decade, first serving as Director of Administrative Services. Previously, she was the budget and finance manager for South San Francisco.
As Director of Administrative Services, “she led the City’s Fiscal Sustainability Task Force to educate the community about Dublin’s financial status, oversaw the formation of Dublin’s first Community Facilities District to provide financing for the infrastructure and improvements at the Boulevard project, and completed a master plan to guide citywide technological improvements,” according to a news release.
As Assistant City Manager, Tribby oversees the parks, public works, and finance departments. She has been credited with citywide energy efficiency improvements, the coming extension of Dublin Boulevard and reconstruction of Village Parkway, and the future debut of the Dublin Arts Center.
Dublin Mayor Michael McCorriston expressed full confidence in Tribby's ability to help lead the city.
“Her passion for the Dublin community is inspiring,” he added.
