The first retail cannabis licenses in the City of Fresno are expected to be issued in the first quarter of 2021, Spokesperson Mark Standriff told The San Joaquin Valley Sun. The city will issue 14 recreational retail licenses.
A tutorial for prospective applicants will take place on Zoom on Oct. 20 at 1 p.m. Standard license applications are due by Dec. 4, but social equity applicants must meet additional deadlines. Fees will be determined during a city meeting on Oct. 15.
In addition to the 14 dispensaries, Fresno will eventually allow up to 16 cultivators, distributors and manufacturers within city limits.
