Jurupa Valley ranks 2nd in the nation for swearing, according to an analysis from WordTips. It's the most foul-mouthed city in the Golden State.
For the study, the researchers relied on 1.7 million geotagged tweets in English. America ranked first for cursing among nations, followed by the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. Maryland had the most foul mouth among U.S. states, while South Dakota ranked dead last.
California averages 44.4 swear words for every 1,000 tweets, making it 11th in the nation for cursing. Jurupa Valley’s average was 77.6! Only Baltimore, Maryland beat Jurupa Valley, coming in at #1 nationwide.
