When it comes to kindness and hospitality, California isn’t the first state that comes to mind. We don’t get the bad rep New York does, but we’re not exactly known for politeness and pleasantries (blame the traffic). And yet, 18 California cities made a recent list of the Kindest Cities in America. The rankings were compiled by a company called LuvLink.
LuvLink surveyed 3,000 travelers to see where they had encountered the most warmth and friendliness. Based on the responses, LuvLink compiled a list of the nation’s 150 kindest cities.
According to the survey, these are the kindest cities in the Golden State with national rankings in parenthesis:
Huntington Beach (#33)
Irvine (#38)
Oceanside (#39)
Anaheim (#46)
