Lauren Langer, with the law firm Best Best & Krieger LLP (BBK), has been appointed City Attorney for Hidden Hills. She most recently served as City Attorney in West Hollywood and legal counsel for the Westside Cities Council of Governments. Before that, she was Interim City Attorney for the City of Downey.
“We are excited to welcome Lauren Langer to Hidden Hills,” said Mayor Weber. “Her vast knowledge of municipal law and proven track record in supporting local governments will be invaluable as we continue to uphold our commitment to effective governance and community safety.”
According to a news release, Langer has extensive experience with zoning and land use issues, environmental regulations, and housing laws.
“She also has a deep understanding of municipal operations, providing guidance on the Brown Act, the California Public Records Act, and other key legal frameworks,” and has drafted ordinances for tenant protection, affordable housing, and more.
