It would be funnier if she lost the Nevada Caucus.
The Long Beach man had tried to file an obituary ad for democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton with the Las Vegas Review-Journal on the eve of the Saturday caucus.
Describing it as “political humor” that would have signaled the death of the Clinton campaign, if she had lost, the Bernie Sanders supporting jokester didn’t get many laughs in the Review-Journal’s office.
Instead they phoned up the Secret Service, calling it a possible threat. The Secret Service then contacted the man and was advised that he could be arrested for such actions, but the Secret Service was not planning on doing so.
After the newspaper printed a brief story on the incident, the Long Beach man said he plans to file a civil suit alleging the paper and the author wrote a slanderous account of the ordeal.
Gotta love election season!
