Drop your plans for Saturday. Nor Cal Corgi Con is upon us once again and that means hundreds of cute, stubby canines descending on San Francisco’s Ocean Beach.
The event will be held October 10 at 10:00 a.m. between Stairwell 21 and Fulton Street across from Beach Chalet Restaurant. A group photo will take place between 11:30 and 12:30 (it takes a while to round up all that dogs), followed by a dog race and raffle. Proceeds go to Muttville Senior Dog Rescue and Corgi Aid.
Last year’s Corgi Con netted nearly 500 dogs, so this year is sure to be a crowded event. Attendees are encouraged to dress their corgis and corgi mixes in costumes as part of the fun.
