Many fire evacuees in L.A. County have been unable to return and check on the status of their homes. Now, they can do so from a cell phone or computer.
L.A. County officials released preliminary maps on Tuesday showing which structures have been damaged or destroyed.
Pacific Palisades Fire Damage Map
The maps are being routinely updated. They’re color-coded. If a property has no color, that means it hasn’t been assessed yet.
As of Wednesday, January 15th at 7 AM, the Palisades Fire had destroyed an estimated 5,316 structures. Another 7,000 structures were lost in the Eaton Fire.
