We are sad to report that Shawn O’Connell, a councilman from Rialto was found dead in his car this weekend, according to Rialto Police Chief Randy De Anda.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and no cause of death has been determined yet, but an autopsy will be conducted.
The retired Rialto police sergeant was 48.
