The allegation comes just months after Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson was accused of sexual harassment.
Councilman Allen Warren is the subject of the accusation which says he abused his authority and coerced a woman who previously worked for him into having sex with him over a period spanning two years.
In the woman’s claim, she says she attempted to end the quid pro quo environment multiple times and was threatened with termination.
The claim also mentions ongoing suffering in the form of “anxiety, depression, and PTSD,” while also alleging that “Sacramento made no reasonable attempt to investigate [her] complaint, accommodate her disability, or engage in any good faith interactive process.” It then accuses that the city “used its official process” to “aid and abet Mr. Warren’s sexual harassment of Ms. Chacon.”
No city official has commented about this matter yet.
