The City of San Rafael has announced the selection of Santa Rosa Economic Development Manager Danielle O'Leary to head Economic Development and Innovation. O'Leary will assume the position July 11 and will start out at $144,288 a year.
Danielle O'Leary holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in communications from Concordia University in Irvine, California. She has worked in local government for over 15 years, having previously held positions in Santa Rosa, Los Gatos and Saratoga.
"Throughout my career I’ve worked to curate innovative economic development,” O’Leary said. “It’s an exciting time for San Rafael right now and I greatly look forward to joining such a dynamic and forward-thinking team.”
O'Leary was one of 79 professionals who applied for the position during an extensive recruitment effort.
