Like any good city council candidate, Steve Colangelo was at Stockton City Hall attending the council meeting.
The meeting ran well into the night, adjourning after 1 a.m., and it was then the poor Colangelo could not find his car. He had parked right across the street too.
Mayor Anthony Silva saved the day, giving Colangelo a ride home. “I was stranded. I had no other ride. He was the only other set of wheels in the parking lot at the time,” Colangelo said.
Mayor Silva also revealed that three other cars near City Hall had been broken into and is looking into the possibility of the perpetrator being caught on a city camera.
No one deserves such misfortune after a late night council meeting.
