It’s tarantula mating season and the Bay Area is being hit hard.
Experts say the eight-legged creatures have been out in full force in San Francisco and surrounding areas thanks to warmer temperatures.
“Great time of year. You only get to see it once a year,” Sonoma County Reptile Rescue Director Al Wolf told CBS News.
Great unless you’re an arachnophobe, that is.
The deluge should be winding down soon so if you’ve caught a glimpse of one, consider yourself lucky. They’ll be gone before you know it — until next year.
