For the third consecutive year, Fremont, California has been named the happiest city in America by personal finance website WalletHub.
Fremont has the lowest divorce rate and the lowest rates of depression among residents. Out of 100 points, it earned the highest score of 76.10.
The runner-up was San Jose. With a score of 70.35, the Silicon Valley city is considered the second-happiest in America.
Four other California cities made the top 20: San Francisco (#5), Irvine (#6), Huntington Beach (#14) and San Diego (#15).
Making it into the top 50 were the cities of Anaheim (#23); Garden Grove (#24); Chula Vista (#25); Santa Rosa (#26); Glendale (#27); Oxnard (#28); Santa Clarita (#31); Oceanside (#36); Sacramento (#42); and Santa Ana (#44).
