The Texas library cat who was almost ousted by his city council this year is getting the last laugh—err, meow.
CBS/Dallas Fort Worth reports that the White Settlement councilman who voted to kick him out has lost re-election in a landslide. Because bullying cats isn’t exactly a winning issue with the public anywhere.
As for Browser (that's his name), he’s now ‘Library Cat for Life’ as far as Mayor Ron White is concerned. “Browser is still employed and will be as long as he wishes to continue his duties as mascot and reading helper for the children at the library” White said.
We’re guessing Browser won’t be extending any of that goodwill to the library’s mice.
