Residents in Victorville, California are waging a battle against fast-moving tumbleweeds that have literally engulfed some neighborhoods in the San Bernardino County city.
Unbelievable video shows hundreds of these balls of mayhem blowing through streets and forming large stacks in front of homes, trapping residents inside.
“We’re not exactly sure how many homes are affected, but we’re estimating about 100 to 150 homes in that area,” city spokeswoman Sue Jones said.
The city has sent code enforcement officers to remove the debris, but residents say they just keeping coming back.
