Ty Lewis is no longer serving as City Manager of Paso Robles. Lewis and the city agreed to a mutual separation, effective Sunday, January 26.
As part of the agreement, Lewis will drop a claim he previously filed against the city. Lewis was seeking $2.2 million in damages over an alleged hostile work environment. The claim named Councilmember Chris Bausch, whom Lewis accused of harassment and defamation.
Lewis had worked for Paso Robles for 23 years. He had previously served as a police officer in Porterville and Bakersfield.
Assistant City Manager Chris Huot has assumed the acting city manager position.
