The smartphone app is hoping to increase community involvement.
“Tag. We’re On It” is the name of the app and it lets you submit a photograph and location data for any graffiti that then goes to the city so they can deploy a crew to deal with it.

Modesto is not alone in this app niche, as other city and private efforts are out there as well.
