WalletHub compared 182 cities across 15 key metrics. Factors related to economic & social well-being were worth 60 pts while the health care & safety category was worth 40.

3. Overland Park, KS

4. Raleigh, NC

5. South Burlington, VT

6. Fremont, CA

7. Virginia Beach, VA

8. Minneapolis, MN

9. Durham, NC

10.  Jersey City, NJ

San Francisco ranked 11th nationally, making it the second-best city for women in California. Huntington Beach (#26 nationally) and Irvine (#27 nationally) took the 3rd and 4th spots statewide.
