WalletHub has released its annual list of the fastest growing cities in America.
The personal finance site started with “515 cities of varying population sizes.” It then ranked them on 17 metrics, each graded on a 100-point scale. They include population growth, job growth, median household income, joblessness declines, and more.
No California cities made the top 10. Lehigh Acres, FL was #1, followed by Mount Pleasant, SC and Bend, OR. Five Texas cities were in the top 20.
The fastest growing city in the Golden State is Milpitas. It came in at #17.
