Is it time for Donald Trump’s Walk of Fame star to go? The West Hollywood City Council says yes. They passed a resolution last week urging the Los Angeles City Council and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove the plaque once and for all.

Officials are no doubt getting fed up with all the commotion surrounding the star. We’re only a year and a half into Trump’s presidency and it has already faced acts of vandalism several times.

In calling for the star’s removal, however, West Hollywood cited Trump’s dubious personal history and his policies as cause for the star’s removal. Trump’s “disturbing treatment of women and other actions,” including his policies on immigration, “do not meet the shared values of the City of West Hollywood, the region, state, and country,” the resolution reads.

West Hollywood is unlikely to get its wish. Trump isn’t the only Walk of Famer who has allegedly mistreated women, although he is the first to elicit such a response from the West Hollywood City Council. Previously, the Chamber of Commerce rejected calls to have Bill Cosby’s plaque removed.

Perhaps they could all compromise by giving Stormy Daniels a star.
