From California Consulting, Inc.
Wynola Water District has been awarded $778,000 in funding through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF), administered by the California State Water Resources Control Board, to support critical early-phase development of a new water treatment system for the Wynola Estates Community in San Diego County.
The grant was awarded on January 7, 2026, following close collaboration between California Consulting Project Manager Ed Sayles and Wynola Water District administration, who worked together to successfully secure the funding.
Grant funds will support essential pre-construction activities, including:
• System design and engineering
• Environmental review
• Permitting and regulatory compliance
These preparatory steps are necessary to advance the development of a new water treatment system that will improve water quality, reliability, and long-term sustainability for the Wynola Estates Community.
This investment represents an important milestone for Wynola Water District as it works to modernize its water infrastructure and ensure safe, compliant drinking water for residents. California Consulting is honored to support Wynola Water District in securing resources that strengthen community health and essential public services.
