Incumbents perform the full range of routine and complex departmental accounting and record-keeping programs under only minimal supervision. Successful performance of the work requires thorough knowledge of governmental accounting practices and procdures, fund accounting, and fiscal management.
Typical Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in accounting, finance, business, or public administration with two (2) years of responsible professional accounting experience and one (1) year of experience performing governmental accounting. Applicant must have a California Drivers' license.
