The County of Yolo is recruiting to fill two (2) regular, full-time positions in the class of Accountant III at the Department of Financial Services.
Salary is $87,068.80 - $105,830.40 Annually
The ideal candidate shall have great customer service skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to learn quickly, as well as being a team player who is willing to help others. Assignments are as follows:
General Accounting Division - This position will be primarily tasked with financial reporting for the County but will also assist with other accounting duties such as audit, recording and/or approving accounting transactions, and other accounting duties as assigned.
Satellite Finance Division - Responsible for assisting other County departments with general accounting duties such preparation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general journals, and financial reports. The position will also be responsible for a certain level of budget development and budget monitoring.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a closely related field including completion of 120 semester units with a minimum of 12 semester units in accounting; AND
Experience: Four (4) years of professional level accounting and/or auditing experience comparable to the Yolo County classes of Accountant I/II or Auditor I/II.
