SALARY
Accountant I $1,669.62-$2,130.61/ Bi-Weekly
Accountant II $2,038.21-$2,601.08/ Bi-Weekly
The primary job functions for professional Accountants with the City of Madera include maintaining, developing and analyzing fiscal statements and records; preparing financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals and Governmental Accounting Standards; and performs other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience/Education:
Accountant I –
3 years of paid professional accounting and financial work, and an Associate’s degree in accounting, business administration or related field
-OR-
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or related field.
Accountant II –
2 years of responsible professional accounting experience equivalent to an Accountant I, and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or a closely related field.
Licenses: Valid Class C California Drivers License
