Our client, a municipality in Contra Costa County, is seeking a temporary Accountant, while they conduct a full time recruitment. This is expected to be a 5+ month (approx. 700 hours) assignment. The schedule is 30-40 hours/week, M-F. Hourly pay rate: $35.50. Interviews are schedule to take place the first or second week of May.

  • Ability to perform complex bank account reconciliations
  • Knowledge of fund accounting is desirable
  • Ability to review trail balances and preform account analysis
  • Works well with other departments and has a high standard of customer service
  • Can gather data from vendors and other City staff for statistical reporting
