About the Position:
PARSAC is recruiting for an experienced Accountant or Senior Accountant as the current Senior Accountant is retiring after 13 years of service. This position serves as the subject matter expert in our small, high performing, inter-dependent team. Responsibilities Include: Cash and investment management; Accounts payable/receivable; Payroll and benefits; Claims reconciliations; Budgeting; Manage complex accounting procedures; and provide financial planning, analysis and reports.
Requirements: Bachelor’s in Accounting; 2-5 years public agency experience with increasing responsibility; knowledge of principles and practices of government accounting standards (GASB, GAAP and GFOA). Desirable: Master’s, CPA, CMA, or ARM.
