$6,857 -$9,441 per month
Currently, there is one (1) full-time vacancy in the Public Works Department assigned to City Hall. This position is scheduled to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but may vary depending on the needs of the City including after-hour City Council meetings, emergency response, weekend assignments, or special events. These classifications are exempt positions in the City’s Supervisory/Administrative group.
Under direct or general supervision, administers the City’s water quality program and NPDES compliance, performs various professional field and office engineering work related to the planning, design, construction and maintenance of City capital improvement projects, City infrastructure and daily departmental operations; confers with developers, contractors and representatives of other agencies regarding facility and infrastructure development; administers professional services and construction contracts; provides professional assistance to the Public Works Director, City Engineer, the City Council and others in areas of expertise; may serve as staff augmentation for other cities; performs a variety of studies and prepares and presents staff reports; and performs related work as required.
